OCCUPATIONAL MEDICAL SERVICE UNIT AT MEDICO LTD.


Full medical service under agreement, comprising of all obligatory activities
pursuant to the Health and Safety at Work Act and Ordinance ¹ 14 of
the Ministry of Health dated August 7, 1998 /State Gazette No.95 of 1998/


Functions and tasks of the Occupational Medical Service:

1. Assessment of workplaces and work environment, provided by
the employer. Risk assessment of workplaces.

2. Development and proposal of measures for the improvement of work
environment and elimination /reduction/ of risks to employees’ health.

3. Supervision of the staff health status related to the work done:
    3.1. Determination of the periodicity and support to the organization
    of prophylactic medical check-ups with professional-risk orientation.

    3.2. Providing conclusions on employees’ fitness to particular work
    based on the periodical medical check-ups.

    3.3. Employees who as a result of the medical check-ups are found to
    need more precise diagnose or treatment are send to their family doctors.

    3.4. Raise employees’ awareness on health risks related to their work and
    provide them with the prophylactic medical check-ups and lab tests results.

    3.5. Development and maintenance of professional personal health file
    foe each employee

    3.6. Analysis of the prophylactic medical check-ups results against the
    work environment.

    3.7. Annual analysis of the employees health status based on the
    indicators for temporary and permanent disability and its relation to
    work conditions, the data for occupational diseases and labour
    traumatism /Ordinance No.3, State Gazette No.95 / 1998/.

    3.8. Participation in investigation of occupational diseases
    /work accidents/ Ordinance No. 14, State Gazette No.95 /1998/

4. Development and maintenance of employees’ personal health files.
