OCCUPATIONAL MEDICAL SERVICE UNIT AT MEDICO LTD.


Full medical service under agreement, comprising of all obligatory activities
pursuant to the Health and Safety at Work Act and Ordinance ¹ 14 of
the Ministry of Health dated August 7, 1998 /State Gazette No.95 of 1998/


Functions and tasks of the Occupational Medical Service:

1. Assessment of workplaces and work environment, provided by
the employer. Risk assessment of workplaces.

2. Development and proposal of measures for the improvement of work
environment and elimination /reduction/ of risks to employees’ health.

3. Supervision of the staff health status related to the work done.

4. Development and maintenance of employees’ personal health files.

5. Organization and providing of training according to schedule, agreed
with the company management.
    5.1. 1.1.Training of management staff and the groups on
    occupational health and safety at labour /Ordinance No.4,
    State Gazette No.133/1998/

    5.2. Attend the meetings of the Groups on occupational health and safety.

    5.3. Development of programmes and training on rules related to ensuring
    health and safety at work and the general principles of healthy living.

    5.4. Training of employees on first-aid, self-aid and mutual aid in the event of
    calamities and accidents /Order No. ÐÄ-09-410 of 13.10.1994/

    5.5. Training courses towards awarding a qualification group on electric safety.

6. Support to the implementation and ensuring conformity with
the control bodies recommendations.
